Student Programs

Durham Ferry Home

We provide a great variety of programs for students in the San Joaquin County. Third to fifth graders can attend the MEANDER field trip. Middle schoolers are invited to our summer camps and high schoolers can participate in the SLEWS program.

MEANDER Field Trip

MEANDER Field Trips provide grade specific outdoor education experience for students in grades 3-5

BioBlitz Field Trip

BioBlitz is for students in grades 6-12.  Students will work in small groups to identify and record the predominant species at the Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center.

SLEWS
​

SLEWS Program engages high school students in meaningful environmental stewardship that allows students to practice scientific skills.

Summer Camps
​

 Students in grades 4-7 will participate in science activities, art, nature hikes, archery, fishing, and other recreational activities. We make science fun!
