Update: Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all of the SJCOE STEM Programs summer opportunities for students registrations have been closed. If you have already paid, you will be issued a reimbursement. We are also exploring the possibility of offering distance learning/online STEM camp options, details to follow....

​This is a day camp hosted at Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center. Students in grades 4 - 7 will participate in science activities, art, nature hikes, archery, fishing, and other recreational activities. We make science fun!

​Monday - Thursday 9:00-2:00 PM

$250 per camper, lunch included

​MONDAY - Life: Hiking, set up wildlife cameras, build an insect trap, water play, field games
TUESDAY - Water: Fishing, microscopic explorations, water play, 
field games
WEDNESDAY - Air: Archery, engineering: build a fan, wildlife footage review, field games
THURSDAY - Sun: Choice of fishing or archery, electricity overview,  solar suitcase building or paper circuits, closing ceremonies
